Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
ClickUp is used to create, manage, and follow the progress of sprints in a development project. In a sprint, a long list of tickets is created to successfully finish each sprint. ClickUp helps in organizing all the info needed for a specific ticket in that ticket. ClickUp also allows communication in the ticketing environment so everyone can follow the progress or what needs to be done for that certain ticket. ClickUp is also used to ticket any bugs or issues that might come up.
Pros
- Tickets.
- Files uploaded for the tickets.
- Communication inside the ticket.
- Assigning different users for a ticket.
- Organizing different projects and sprints.
Cons
- Better email notification subject.
- A reduction of email redundancy for one ticket.
- Increased collaboration between inside and outside employees.
- Less communication is needed between inside and outside employees. Previously a meeting needed to be held once or twice a week. Now, emails are enough.
- Better productivity since the tasks can be direct and easier to follow.
Collaboration has improved significantly. Previously, a meeting for discussion was needed for some of the lowest importance stuff to inform the development team of what's needed. Now, tasks and in-ticket discussions are enough and help reduce the time needed for communication and follow-ups. Managing projects and tasks for the development team is much easier and smoother. Back-tracking to previous unfinished tasks has also been great as no info or thought gets lost when it has a ticket.
Personally, ClickUp feels smoother. They both did the same job equally well. However, ClickUp offered me better customization options and worked better in the team flow.
