Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
ClickUp helps us communicate both within and across teams. Each team has a ClickUp board where members store their current tasks and assign tasks to others. ClickUp helps us stay organized and assess each person's capacity.
Pros
- Tracks tasks and their progress.
- Keeps teams organized.
- Acts as a backlog for many different use cases.
Cons
- If you re-use a field for a form, when you try to delete it, it will delete every instance of that field in any form. We reuse fields a lot, so we don't have to create duplicates, and just because we delete it in one place doesn't mean we want to delete it everywhere.
- A better way to sort items within a column (To-Do) is to have higher priority items at the top and stay automatically.
- Don't love the flags for priority.
- Time Savings - Clickup has been a great place to track tasks and has saved time with meetings and updates.
- Team communication - Clickup helped keep team members aligned and avoid confusion.
We primarily use Clickup for managing projects, which has helped a ton with keeping on top of tasks, ensuring everyone is updated, and reducing meeting time. Team members have more time to focus on high-value activities, increasing productivity. We will be looking to use it for additional tracking in the future.
The ClickUp integrations have made it easier to connect apps, which is good because there are some that we will always use (e.g., Slack and Google Drive). Being able to integrate makes it so we have one central place where everything can be viewed.
