- basically using clickUp as a mini CRM
- Setup of each tool is extremely easy. I can create a List, setup stages, create dashboards, setup automation, etc. All very easily. This helps us quickly implement new ideas or strategies quickly and with little pain.
- The pricing feels right to a small business, and scaling up to medium sized business. ClickUp delivers on value and each pricing plan is sensible in it's features. Most companies have pricing plans with obvious "withholding" of necessary features. ClickUp knows exactly what each archetype of customer needs, and offers the right features for that archetype.
- Design. Design. Design. It's so difficult to create a fluid and consistent experience for team members. Especially when each 3rd party SAAS company we might use had it's own set of workflow and design. ClickUp keeps a consistent feeling throughout all of its tools. This makes it easier for team members to learn the system, reduces friction while using it, and makes a cohesive workflow experience as team members engage with several ClickUp tools.
- ClickUp automations felt feature lacking. With no robust logic, conditional paths, or limited 3rd party integration it was always necessary to use Zapier or Make (integromat). Even when doing automations that only affected ClickUp tasks, the complexity needed for conditional business use cases simply wasn't there.
- Whiteboarding felt useless. I'd always find myself recommending Miro or Lucidchart because ClickUp simply does not have a robust ideation tool.
- For small business, Miro still does this best in my opinion.
- Speed. Tasks often take a few seconds to populate in the correct status after moving it. This makes team members second guess if it worked. They constantly feel the need to refresh pages.

ClickUp has enabled our team to adopt a flexible remote work culture due to the powerful collaboration tools that can now be hosted online.

Thanks to the streamlined task management, we can use team members of differing skill sets from anywhere in the world and there is timely information, and task management to keep the team on pace.

When we onboarded to ClickUp, we eliminated the need for our CRM, messes of several different Google Sheets, our time tracking software, and others.
In addition to eliminating current software, we were able to use Integromat much more powerfully ad ClickUp offered each data point in useable fields and hosted them all in one easily accessible place.
