Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

ClickUp is heads and shoulders above any other project and task management platform we've used. We tried Trello but it was too basic. We tried Asana but having to navigate across multiple boards kept our projects segmented and prevented our managers from having a bird's eye view. ClickUp allows for flexible views, adding users to just one list instead of a whole workspace, and molds to the preferences of each user so people can see the task at hand in the way they understand it best.
  • multiple views like Kanban, list, board, timeline, calendar
  • syncs with Google Calendar
  • allows us to add collaborators solely to the relevant list they need
  • Because we work across multiple orgs, we have to switch workspaces. It would be great if ClickUp had shared workspaces across multiple companies - like Slack connect.
  • Cuts down on meeting time because all task progress is visible
  • Improves team dynamics because accountability to deadlines is now built-in
  • Allows for pivots when needed when deadlines are missed
The core function we use is to be able to delegate tasks and track progress without having to meet. It also allows for task discussion without clogging a Slack channel or demanding real-time feedback. Discussion can be asynchronous.
By having list templates, we are able to replicate a model for each similar project instead of starting from scratch. Managers spend time assigning and adding deadlines but don't have to think through every step every time. By integrating with Google Calender, there are multiple touchpoints for deadlines. By integrating with email, staff get reminders in multiple places.
Already mentioned this in my first answer: there's no competition. ClickUp is enormously more flexible, tailored to modern teams, allows for better ways of viewing projects or adding one-time collaborators.
