Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We use ClickUp to manage various initiatives. We work on some projects and ClickUp helps us track our tasks. In one project we use integration with the Toggl tool to do time tracking. In other projects, we need to track our work asynchronously, because we can't work all weeks on those projects.
  • Sub-task feature: it helps to do a "divide and conquer" strategy.
  • Checklist feature: helps to know the progression of a task.
  • Comments feature: you can paste resources or outcomes in this section.
  • Space feature: it helps to separate topics or other conventions.
  • Move cards/tasks in board view. Sometimes the board gets frozen or it doesn't get updated.
  • Notifications don't get my attention, I don't know why.
  • Add attachment dropdown: it doesn't show all options.
  • More team collaboration.
  • Has a dark mode (eye saver).
  • Partners can interact through the comment/reply system on each card.
Our team collaborates in the following ways through ClickUp: First, through the comments/answers system, the doubts are documented on the card and the information is available. Second, through the view history of the cards. Third, through attachments, access to other resources is documented and available. Fourth, the team can see each other's work and complement each other by walking the board.
Thanks to ClickUp we have been able to simplify notifying someone of a task's status change. We've integrated ClickUp with Slack to get certain notifications in team channels so they know when new tasks are available for them. We have also been testing the time tracking feature although we have not yet gotten used to it.
I really like the fact that ClickUp wants to be a super productivity app for projects. That is a reason that makes the difference from its competitors. Although its competitors have some interesting things. I find the subtask feature to be very powerful. We have used it to create websites, with subtasks from the marketing, design, and development team without getting confused.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

Yes

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

First of all, I think ClickUp has a lot of room for improvement. I would very much like cards to be able to be moved to another list at a specific position in the board view. Second, I consider ClickUp a good tool because it allows you to make interesting integrations. For example, the integration with Slack to notify a team that a task has changed status. Third, I really like the "views" feature on each card, which shows the view history for each specific card. That way one has evidence that a co-worker saw a card and it's useful when working remotely/asynchronously.
