Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

Our business would not run without ClickUp! It's the core of our business and how we complete everything for our clients and for our own internal use. We have spaces for each client where we keep track of everything we do, and recurring tasks help keep our business running from month to month! Having templates, save checklists, and more helps us easily onboard new clients and each employee knows exactly what to do - and in what order - thanks to that feature. We can easily complete onboarding and offboarding tasks as we take in new clients and finish projects. We always have a timely reminder of when to complete certain monthly tasks, and we can easily record hours worked for each client, communicate with each other, and delegate tasks.

Pros

  • Document and easily reproduce processes for tasks we complete for multiple clients
  • Communicate with the team and track hours worked for each client
  • Keep us organized and on track
  • Ensure tasks don't slip through the cracks

Cons

  • In the hours dashboard, I can see the task but not the space it is assigned to. Because we do many of the same tasks for the same clients, it would be helpful to see where my teammates are spending their time without having to really dig for it
  • Notifications are sometimes overwhelming
  • We literally couldn't run our business without ClickUp
  • We could have a zillion sticky notes, white boards, spreadsheets, and more - but nothing would ever compare to what ClickUp does for our business. We wouldn't get a THING done without it!
  • ClickUp saves me at least 2-3 hours per week in planning out tasks alone.
ClickUp allows us to tag each other, assign comments, assign tasks and subtasks, and more - which helps our 100% remote team work better together. We can track progress of tasks and ask each other to complete different things very easily. And it's all tracked and documented without having to worry about hitting "save".
By ClickUp automatically recurring tasks, our entire workload is set up behind the scenes. All we have to do is show up each day and look at what is due or overdue to know what is the most important work to complete. It's a life save.
We use Slack in conjunction with ClickUp for an extra layer of communication. Notifications can get overwhelming in ClickUp, and Slack helps us streamline communication.

If you have multiple clients that you perform similar tasks each month for, ClickUp is essential. It will help you process out each task, easily import from one client to the next, allow you to set deadlines into the future, and keep you on task. Even if you do multiple different things for clients, it has the flexibility to help you organize your business and get things completed in a timely manner. It's also helpful with delegating tasks to your staff, tracking hours per client and for payroll purposes, and organizing and structuring your teams workload.
