Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use it to track the projects we are working on within our team. We can use the public forms for other teams to submit work requests to us and we publish public lists of our projects so that other teams can see where their requests are. It's a complete communication hub, letting us discuss projects and tasks in a way that's visible to everyone without getting siloed.
Pros
- It's a beautiful user experience with clear buttons and in-app help and prompts
- It provides great ways communicate with people outside of ClickUp
- It allows clear organization of information
Cons
- Deeper integration with other tools, e.g., Salesforce
- A less cluttered option for the interface. All the options can be overwhelming, especially for new users
- More display options on the free plan
- Using ClickUp easily shaves 25% off of our weekly communication meetings because we can simply review what's in ClickUp from the week.
- ClickUp cuts down on the questions we get from other teams about where our projects are since they can just reference the information we provide in ClickUp.
- We didn't need to use Salesforce's expensive project management tool.
ClickUp lets us collaborate internally on projects and keep other teams up to date on our work with sharing. Ideally, everyone's in ClickUp but CU provides options for sharing public versions of projects with limited information so that other teams can see the big picture without needing to expose all the comments and internal workings.
Having everything in one spot is invaluable. Eliminating the need to track things in multiple places and documents has been game-changing. While the document management leaves a bit to be desired, ClickUp can function as a traditional task and project management tool but also as a hub for organizing everything on a team, potentially replacing internal knowledge management tools.
