Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We use ClickUp as our project management software. It powers all our projects/tasks/initiatives, from client work to internal work, and keeps us organized.

Pros

  • Maintains personal task lists.
  • Serves as a daily organizer.
  • Shows schedules from a gantt chart perspective.

Cons

  • We have had lots of tech issues, including not getting alerts and other buggy behavior.
  • It doesn't show complex dependent relationships that well.
  • There is often unclear information as to when upgrades will be done and available.
  • Its allowed us to have a single source of truth.
  • It allows us to all know where progress is across the team.
  • There is definitely a time savings with it, I just don't have that quantified.
It makes task management across all teams much easier. However, I wouldn't say it fosters much collaboration outside of providing/reviewing/responding to feedback.
Having everything in ClickUp means we don't need to restate or repeat things in other areas like Slack or email. It's also easy to grab a link from a task to refer to, so we do that a lot.
ClickUp works best as a central project management tool.

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Yes

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

I think Click Up is better suited for a collection of smaller, fast-turn requests rather than a long-term project where you are working on a singular task that can take multiple days/weeks.
