Powerful DDoS Mitigation Software
Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare
First of all, the company I work for uses Cloudflare to protect against DDoS attacks as a proxy for the site. Not so long ago we mitigated a powerful DDoS attack just by using Cloudflare mode, especially for that case. Caching data on Cloudflare servers saves a lot of resources and pages load faster. Also, a very good DNS and firewall are built in there, which allows you to manage everything you need to maintain the site from one place.
Pros
- Caching.
- DDoS mitigation.
- DNS control.
- Managed firewall.
Cons
- Attacks log is far from the start page.
- I would like more interactive tips (feedback) [on] when to apply what settings.
- Saved system administrator time.
- Saved money for the main team.
- Saved time when searching for a proxy.
- F5 Advanced Web Application Firewall, NGINX, Juniper Advanced Threat Prevention (JATP) and formerly cyphort
Cloudflare is much cheaper and has more useful settings.
I implemented full Cloudflare DDoS protection in 2 hours after I got the first powerful attack.
