  • Easy to use.
  • Can embed SQL into the reports.
  • Very visual.
  • It doesn't have a wizard for everything - you may need coding experience.
  • Fast turnaround on reports.
  • It's very visual and allows you to see what you are working with rather than just code.
  • Drag and drop functionality.
Fast, easy, and massive knowledge base. So many of our reports have been written in Crystal that it would be hard to change from it.
The best reporting tool I've used, compared to SQL Reporting or MRI. I would suggest going through Crystal training.

Price: For what we use it for - which is secondary reporting - price was very important.
Would ask for in-house demos and have the vendor create a report in front of us.
