Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

I am the sole person in charge of planning and implement all internal events, trainings, annual summits, quarterly meetings, and more. I'm using the platform to streamline my process and get back more time to focus more on the overall content and attendee experience and less on the small details that could be automated.

Pros

  • Building the registration process out for attendees
  • Tracking registrations
  • Building an event website

Cons

  • The navigation between sections of the platform are not as intuitive as I would like and it's taken me some time to figure out where to find everything because things feel buried
  • Enhancing the badge template creation to make it easier to build and brand
  • More website template options and widgets
  • Better registration tracking
  • More employee engagement with events
  • More yet to come - we're new to the product!
I feel there are areas that could be more intuitive, like badge design or website design that could help streamline and add more branding, information, and creativity to user facing areas.

So far it feels really well suited for smaller teams who have fewer people supporting event creation and implementation. I like that I can add other team members into the platform as well so we can have multiple sets of eyes on any given event. This would be even better for larger teams too!

I needed help with launching registration because I kept receiving an error that emails weren't going out. The team was able to look in the backend and figure out what was causing the issue and give me step to fix it.
