Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

We use expensify for simplifying our travel reimbursement processes- it makes it easy to collect receipts, whether it's a photo from a cellphone, downloaded invoice pdf, or manually recorded charge. The built-in processes make it quick and are easy to correct if the image reader doesn't find the right details.

Pros

  • It's easy to set up a new event and add receipts and other charges to it over time
  • It's easy to upload receipts and other charges via mobile app or the browser
  • Categorizing types of charges is intuitive and quick for managers to review and approve

Cons

  • The automated receipt scanner doesn't always work perfectly so you have to double-check each scanned image or receipt
  • Because it's quick and easy to use, our team uses it effectively, rather than drudging through the expense reporting process. This frees up our team to do more important things, like their jobs!
Because as an end user/ employee, Im very happy with the platform. It's easy, intuitive and saves me tons of time. What's not to love
Its easier, intuitive and fun. The built-in avatars and user interfaces are designed to be interesting and attractive- it keeps what can be a tedious task quick and painless

As an employee, it's super easy to collect and upload my charges and categorize them effectively. Some other expense tracking apps make it cumbersome and tedious. I can record my charges and submit expenses while Im traveling with the Expensify app- so I no longer have to waste an entire afternoon to submit my expense reports
