Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong for it's recording and AI capabilities, to best identify patterns and customer focus in which we can best support our clients and find trends that increase sales. I regularly go back to listen to my conversations to find actionable insights. It's also useful for analytical purposes and self reflection.

Usability is great, but what we really need is the ability to record incoming calls. I also would like the ability to turn it on and off when needed. It also sometimes creates drama in that it tells me I need to contact a client when the client knows I will be waiting a few weeks to contact them.
The insights are great. Gong tells me when I have talked too much. It tells me what the client really wants and it allows me to look at my sales in a more analytical way. Overall it is very accurate and has benefited my business immensely. I will continue to recommend.
The difference between today and ten years ago, is that most consumer insight research is performed digitally, thats where Gong comes in. Gong is a must have for companies and brands as a whole. Insights and the ability to locate trends is at the center of why I love Gong. At the most basic level, recording conversations and intuitive research tells you who your customers are and what they want.
Salesloft is nothing compared to Gong, there is no competition.

Gong has provided me the ability to take less notes and not rely on listening to everything the client has to say. What it really allows me to do it focus on my mission and the questions I have so that I can get the information I want out of calls. It allows me to show my management what I did and prove it quickly and efficiently.
