Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We utilize Gong to record almost all our customer/company meetings. We have regular meetings for projects as well as long term customer relationship check-in meetings. It allows us to reference conversations as needed and provide an easy access link to content for customers to review. I'm not sure about the storage side of things, but I'm sure that is part of the consideration for why company chose Gong as well (vs downloading/storing recordings).

Pros

  • Interface for moving through a recording (jump around, visuals of who is speaking)
  • AI supported summaries
  • Transcription

Cons

  • Finding where to upload recordings when a meeting didn't record
  • Saves time, don't have to download/upload calls for storage
  • Saves time, summaries
  • Allows for historical context when needed, can review old conversations
It's generally smooth, doesn't require extra work from me to get what I need/get something done.
It helps me see certain patterns.
I'm not sure, I don't think I use this to it's full capability.

Yes

It's clean and easy and performs consistently. Of the various platforms we utilize, it is the most performant (other than the G Suite). I don't generally worry about using it, reliability.
