Overall Satisfaction with Gong
I use Gong for all scheduled customer conversations in my organization whether it is for sales or relationship building. Gong is the only way that I can get accurate feedback and summaries from my conversations and I use it to make continuous improvements.
Pros
- Summarizing conversations
- Transcribing conversations
- Linking conversations to existing deals
- Centralizing all the organizations calls in one repository.
Cons
- More specific feedback other than “shorten your monologues” or “encourage more back and forth conversations.”
- In some ways the transcription could be better. Maybe offer ways to help it recognize commonly used words that it gets wrong (like some company names).
- Time savings
- Coaching opportunities
- Accountability
It has given me valuable insights into my performance, maybe I haven’t used it to its full capacity to understand other insights it provides.
It makes it easy to see what customers are talking about, how well we are adapting to their conversations and if we’re delivering during the meeting.
Gong was the first and best choice.
