Overall Satisfaction with Gong
We use Gong for sales training and sales analytics. It is a great notetaker, transcriber as well as a recording tool that can allow our team to go back and watch and listen to each other's calls. This allows us to train each other and constantly fine tune messaging to align with the whole team. The analytics will allow you to understand a buyer's signals that would otherwise be left to the SDR or BDR on the call. The verification of those buying signals is very helpful in training as well.
Pros
- Transcription - way better than other tools out there
- Analysis - can understand buying signals based on words used in the call
- Commenting function allows the whole team to encourage or critique each other for training purposes
Cons
- Infrequent, but Gong will sometimes have an error when trying to load a call manually
- When a meeting is moved Gong will not join automatically even if the Zoom link has not changed
- When typing comments on a call you need to be aware that the time will stop counting if you click the box to type- so sometimes the comments aren't saved at the correct time in the call

Gong has definitely helped up to understand our customers needs on a deeper level. It has put a focus for our team on understanding the buying signals. This feature in particular is something that in the past could only be done by a human. The AI allows the analysis of the call to simply reinforce or bolster the analysis of a seasoned sales professional.
Definitely. The insights provided by Gong allow us to understand our clients better, and our prospects as well. We can identify gaps in our process and product based on common trends in the analysis provided by Gong. This will help us grow our business by understanding the current and future needs that we should cater to.
