GoToMeeting or GTM, Conference calls needs it :)
Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting
GoToMeeting (GTM) is being used by our organization as an internal meeting or conference call tool as well, and then Account managers are using it for Client demos and other meetings too. Overall, experience with GoToMeeting is excellent as it runs without any issues every time, but the best part is that it is full of useful options.
Pros
- Screen sharing.
- Recording meetings and sharing them further.
- Easy to Operate.
- Pause feature while Recording Meetings.
Cons
- Looks change when in IE and Chrome, Misleading to some extent.
- I have experienced issues when we change the audio settings.
- The number of video-sharing personnel is low in a meeting, and I saw only eight people able to share a camera in a 35 + team meeting.
- Better and Detailed Meetings.
- Record of Meetings available as Video.
- Videos can be downloaded and shared among teams.
- Licensing is a bit confusing, should be made more easy to understand.
- Support is not that handy, like not available at all times.
- Pricing is high as compared to competitors in the market.
GoToMeeting stacks up well because of the feature set available and the alternate ways of creating a connection to a meeting like a Computer or Call-in Numbers. Plus, the number of hosts that can connect to a meeting is very high, like I have seen a meeting with 50+ people on it.
