Overall Satisfaction with Groove
Groove helps to track all of our sales processes and tactics and seamlessly integrate them with Salesforce. It is a simple plugin and enables us to integrate everything from simple email tracking, including opens and link clicks, to call and meeting logging and other areas that provide visibility for both our sales team and client services and sales support teams.
Pros
- Integrates with email to track opens and link clicks
- Allows quick and easy entry of new contacts and puts them directly into Salesforce
- Allows batch email sending, including personalization for each email
Cons
- This product loses connection with email occasionally and needs to be logged back in
- Sometimes does not integrate fully seamlessly when adding new leads or contacts in via email extension
- Is sometimes a bit clunky in terms of integration with Gmail specifically; may work better with Outlook, but haven't used it with that product

HubSpot did have automated lead and contact capture, which was a great tool to automatically add contacts to a database. It would be great if Groove did a similar approach and had some sort of AI component that would auto capture contacts. However, everything else Groove does seems more advanced and the seamless integration with Salesforce is very ideal.
