Overall Satisfaction with Guru

We use Guru to house our knowledgebase for sales and success organizations. IT currently holds our playbooks and everyday knowledge that our team will use to train and use for standard work. At the moment it is currently used in the organization in a smaller scope but has the capacity to become the single source of truth if it goes well with continued rollout.

Pros

  • Version Control
  • Updating on new content changes to material
  • Searching the database for specific words

Cons

  • highlighting last changes or share if conflicting with new version
  • predictive text/search result can be slightly improved
  • Tasks could be more accessible
  • Time spent searching for information decreased
  • Lack of need for Version control nomenclature
  • Personal time saving of ~10% in finding owners of info
Quick and simple, only thing that not as accessible would be the tasking

Guru works well in our business because we have so many different knowledge bases and so many different individuals that you go to for specific information that Guru helps us organize that. The interface is user-friendly and customizable to some extent, teams needing highly tailored user interfaces or workflows might find the customization options somewhat limited compared to more customizable platforms.
