Overall Satisfaction with Heap

Heap is being used by my department to better understand customer engagement with some of our websites. We wanted to extract insights on users' tendencies within the page, their time [spends] on webpages, as well as their conversion rates through the different parts of a form.
  • Easy-to-use interface
  • Easy-to-define events
  • Many features for different use cases
  • Sometimes inconsistent in data collection
  • Dashboard functionality is slightly hard to navigate
  • Helped to increase conversion rates for form submissions
I went in with no prior experience in Heap, and it was an easy-to-navigate interface and had relatively intuitive functionalities.
Sometimes the pages take a long time to load and the refresh rate for reports sometimes lags.
Heap had a more intuitive report-building function. In particular, the Event Visualizer tool was helpful and differentiated itself by being able to easily define events and track user actions.

Heap is well suited for scenarios where you want to gain insights regarding a user's interactions with any given webpage. That is the extent of my usage.
