Overall Satisfaction with Heap

I use Heap to better understand user behavior within my product. We regularly introduce new features to our users that they may not understand due to the complexity of our space. It's important to us to see who's using what and where they experience difficulty, which Heap has been very helpful in bringing some clarity to.
  • Funnel analysis
  • User analytics
  • Data visualization
  • Pricing - can get expensive quickly
  • Increased NPS score
  • Increased adoption of new features
  • Increased product engagement
For web analytics, I prefer Heap over some of its competitors like Adobe Analytics, Looker, or Google Analytics, primarily because I find it more intuitive to use. For mobile, I actually prefer Amplitude as I'm not sure that has been a priority for Heap (yet) and Amplitude does mobile really well.

Do you think Heap delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Heap's feature set?

Yes

Did Heap live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Heap go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Heap again?

Yes

Heap is really easy to set up and use (intuitive) and great for funnel analysis--what does your user do when she or he comes into the project and where do they drop off. I also like to use it to measure the adoption of various features and uses of various pages within our app, so we can better understand how to direct our instruct our users when they are in the product.
