Hootsuite is the all in one social media management platform for small marketing teams with big goals for social media.
Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite
We used Hootsuite to schedule our social media posts across Facebook, X, Pinterest, and Instagram. We have customers and followers across the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, so some of our posts were aligned with the different time zones. Hootsuite made it easy to schedule posts and organize different content elements to share across our stories and in-feed posts.
Pros
- Set up scheduled posts at different times and dates.
- Allowed us to schedule posts to Instagram stories and Facebook stories.
- Provided basic metrics and analytics to review our performance.
Cons
- Accessing the analytics was tricky for exporting or reviewing across all platforms.
- Increase in social media followers and post activity.
- Time-saving with scheduling options and multi-platform posting.
Hootsuite allowed us to identify content around hashtags we follow so we can quickly jump in and comment across multiple posts. We could also share videos across various platforms without worrying about the different upload standards per platform. Hootsuite makes managing content easier and helps us save time by cross-platform posting.
- HubSpot CRM and Buffer
Hootsuite offers a wide range of tools at a somewhat steeper cost. If you manage multiple platforms and want to survey the content being shared and interacted with across all of them, Hootsuite seems to have an easier platform to do that with. HubSpot CRM allows us to integrate our social platforms into our existing CRM, which is a cost saver, but Hootsuite is social media-focused, so the set-up is easier.
