Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite

Hootsuite allows for efficient social media management. It is a headache to attempt to transfer files to your phone, split up posts between platforms and carry captions over between apps. Hootsuite allows you to integrate your platforms and cross post all from your computer. This application has made posting a breeze by placing all of the information I need to see into one place. You can track statistics, use Ai to create captions and more. This is really a one stop shop for social media management.

Pros

  • Cross posting on different platforms
  • Track interactions and impressions
  • Schedule posting
  • Calendar for all platforms

Cons

  • There is no option to select a grid cover. For example when posting a reel, you manually have to enter the app to change the appearance on the grid.
  • Posts can be scheduled 15 minutes+ into the future. So if you want to schedule in the next 5-10 minutes, you would need to do so manually.
  • You are not allowed to add a Instagram account without a Facebook connected to it. If you want to connect an Instagram account by itself, you cannot.
  • This application has not directly improved my interactions. This application has allowed me to organize my social posts.
Hootsuite has a very simple and modern design layout. The browser and mobile version are very easy to use. The calendar option stands out the most to me with placing the posts and the platforms on the date to allow for tracking.
Hootsuite allows for cross posting on multiple accounts, which is rare. When posting you can select what applications you want the post to run on and the draft of what the post would look like. You can edit the captions in relation to different platforms, add emojis and even invite a collaborator in Instagram

In the middle of a campaign and a last minute post came up. We needed to post amongst multiple platforms in a pinch. Hootsuite allowed me to post on Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok all at once. This was a new application at my new job, and I was in awe of how easy the platform was to use. I became used to the posting and double checking in multiple apps making this a hour process if I moved quick. Hootsuite has been a staple in my routine since.
