Overall Satisfaction

  • They give you excellent competitor data on Web analytics...all one space.
  • They are starting to break into the automation platform. We were not using them for that.
  • I think their email is a bit clunky.

If I were still with this company I would totally consider renewing HubSpot every single year given the rate we were paying on a monthly basis.
I was happy with their solution...they gave a lot of competitor Web intelligence that I haven't seen any other products in the space. They are trying to become more of a marketing automation system but they excelled at Web intelligence...the only thing I woul add is that they would make changes those reports frequently so it was hard to report year-over-year to my CEO.

Product Usage

6 - My entire Web team which consisted of 2 Web Developers, 2 Web Marketing Specialist and 1 Web Designer...also myself. I was a Web Marketing Manager at the time.
3 - I was a Web Marketing Manager and I had 2 Web Developers we were responsible for keeping the HubSpot instance up and running and communicating with our Website.
  • Emailing, marketing automation, CRM management and Web (landing pages/forms/etc.)

Evaluation and Selection

We had nothing else prior to HubSpot. We were gaining Web intelligence from Google Analytics.
I didn't select the product the previous Web manager did. I just used the product afterwards.

Implementation

It was just putting a snippet of code on the Website...any Webmaster can do this within minutes.

Training

  • Online training
  • Self-taught
It's a very simple product to use and pretty easy to understand. They had sent us I believe a kickoff webinar to get started though...and they held monthly or quarterly webinars showcasing new features.
Yes it was super simple to understand given you had some experience using other mass mailing programs/CRM/etc.

Support

They were very knowledgable of the product I just felt like they were just always very rude. We would eventually get my issue resolved but it was more on me to get the answer...nonetheless, the sales rep who sold us HubSpot was excellent.
Not Sure - I don't believe we paid for premium support...then again we were grandfathered in on Beta pricing. The support experiences I had with HubSpot weren't that great to be honest. They seemed to be very short with me and probably because we were paying so little per month they didn't want to waste the man-hours per my requests.

Usability

This product was pretty easy to use. I've used similar products so it wasn't that hard to actually pick up once I got my hands in there. You didn't need to be super technical to understand or be able to use.

Reliability

I never experienced as outage while I was a customer.
This was a good overall product. I never experienced any issue the entire time I used it.

Integration

  • Would have loved to integrate with our CRM
We had a proprietary built CRM that made integrations nearly impossible with anything that was 3rd partied.

Vendor Relationship

Pretty simple...the support staff normally had an attitude though.
We were able to stay on beta pricing...paid only $250 a month.
