Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

We use HubSpot to direct people through the entire marketing funnel, but we specifically replaced other platforms that performed these functions for us:

  • Email Marketing
  • Email Automation
  • Contact Forms
  • Simple Surveys
  • Landing Pages
HubSpot is also integrated with Salesforce through the API connector.
  • Equips you to walk a customer through the buyer's journey.
  • One stop shop for all your marketing needs.
  • Integrates well with other products.
  • Reporting tools need to be more useful.
  • The COS is not as user-friendly as at is trying to be.
  • Faster lead conversion.
  • Quick setup of an integrated landing page.
  • Less time managing lists.
We were briefly a customer on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) and we quickly left. As a nonprofit we have used Blackbaud's Luminate for email marketing and lead aquisition. Hubspot is much easier to use but not as customizable. Luminate also integrated with giving information. Hubspot was the way to go once we switched to Salesforce.
I assume it excels for B2B's. As a non-profit, it does take some work to get HubSpot setup for our unique needs. It is flexible enough that we are able to make it work. Other tools weren't.

Using HubSpot

5 - Our development(sales) staff uses hubspot. They help setup targeted emails to mid/high value donors and modify forms related to their assigned donors. Our social media manager uses hubspot's social monitoring and publishing tools.
  • Email Marketing
  • Lead Generation
  • Online interaction analytics and segmentation
  • Social media monitoring and publishing
  • Along with a Wistia integration, we are to make data driven decisions about video development. Before we were just guessing how it impacted our bottom line.
  • We are considering building our website in Hubspot's COS.
Customer service is second to none. They are on the front lines of marketing innovation. I wouldn't want to be on any other team.

Evaluating HubSpot and Competitors

Yes - It replaced Convio Luminate by Blackbaud and ExactTarget (Salesforce Marketing Cloud). Convio wasn't flexible enough to scale to our current needs. ExactTarget was not user friendly and the integration was sub-par.

The sheer volume of features for the price, while also being incredibly user friendly.

Using HubSpot

Hubspot is the easiest marketing software I've ever used. Incredibly intuitive.
