Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

CRM to manage Alums & Current Students, also in a more traditional account management structure for partnerships and clients.

Pros

  • HubSpot makes team collaboration very easy and clean. By clean, I mean the data partitioning features help to clear any noise in our CRM.
  • Pipeline automation and workflows as a whole work seamlessly for account management as well as marketing.
  • The pre-built templates and workflow frameworks are a great tool for easily introducing team members to the capabilities of HubSpot.

Cons

  • The reporting - need much better data visualization tools and reporting.
  • Cost/Pricing Model - slowly becoming more like Salesforce with multiple configurations; while this does provide flexibility based on company needs, the growth of HubSpot Operations has been frustrating as tools formerly available are now behind a paywall. Because this tool is very much oriented toward our Partnerships and Alum management, getting buy-in from the executive team that we need to spend considerably more for our teams to get access to HubSpot operations is nearly impossible. The features in HubSpot operations are great but really only for a team using HubSpot; in my experience, HubSpot Operations is a basic tool for Sales Operations, not internal business operations, and therefore, it makes the business case to get Operations more difficult as it does not then benefit more teams across the business.
  • 300% increase in customer retention since deployment.
Better than Salesforce (by a long shot), but heading in that direction.
Better insights into customer behavior and buying habits have led to greater lead scoring.
Asana & Monday are better project management; Salesforce is far more powerful across the board (except maybe marketing) but way too complex to use and onboard new members onto.

Do you think HubSpot CRM delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with HubSpot CRM's feature set?

Yes

Did HubSpot CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

No

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

Yes

Well suited for Sales Operations and Account Management - not well suited as a project management/internal operations tool. It is good for logging, tracking, and funneling opportunities for sales, but not for long-term strategic planning and vision.
