Overall Satisfaction with IBM Robotic Process Automation

In the current project of "Industry 4.0: Thrive and development within the context of local SMEs", we are implementing Robotic Process Automation in local factories and companies. This tool provides the basic requirement for the automation of business and IT processes at scale with ease and speed compared with traditional RPA solutions on the market.
  • Great and massive community with wide variety of technical support
  • Availability of integration of IBM Watson with scalable solution to be provided
  • Increased lead time and decreased stall time which has direct impact on the overall performance of company's performance
  • The high level of entry barrier for newcomers
  • For some particular aspects of implementation, there are cases of missing documentation with a declarative and definitive explanations of the system performance under different circumstances
  • There is a need for the integration with other tools and frameworks provided, withstanding the scope of IBM products on the market
  • Decreased stall time and increased efficiency of processes (time_now_with_RPA_implemented / time_before_spent_on_process
  • Decreased the level of bureaucracy due to digitalization and automation of business and IT processes, which has a direct impact on the lead time, Time To Market, and ROI
  • All things considered, the total cost of ownership (TCO) transforms into capital expenditure, thereby having a strong positive impact on the balance sheet of the company
We have implemented the IBM Robotic Process Automation chatbots on our website to define the current maturity level of companies in terms of Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation. The experience is inexplicable: the integration with third-party frameworks and tools such as React JS and GraphQL is excellent, and by analyzing the results of surveys of our respondents we came to the conclusion that it is one of the most important factors which have a huge impact on user experience.
We have significantly decreased the level of bureaucracy and the manual entrance of data points by employees. Moreover, we have implemented the automatic presence checker of employees at work which has reduced the manual labor by 3 hours each day. In overall terms, we have saved for about 20 hours of 40 hours a week per employee per week (which is half of the time available for the work). Therefore, there is 150% efficiency in implementing IBM RPA solution.
Compared with other products in the field of automation, IBM's solution stands out in several ways: firstly, they have a massive and great community with provided technical support on a variety of topics interested in; secondly, it can be implemented and integrated with a different aspects of process automation procedures without any limits and boundaries, which is not the case with other products; thirdly, and lastly, there is a flexible price strategy implicated, which is very helpful, especially for SMEs with limited budget available for the process improvement.

This is one of the best options available in the market. Despite having a high entry barrier and difficulties in simply starting the process of implementation, over time it provides the increased productivity of IT and business processes in the company, as well as delivering the MVP with bounded and limited lead time. Moreover, the ROI will become positive in a short period of time, especially for SMEs with limited budgets available.
