Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp
We use Intuit Mailchimp to send weekly newsletters to 2 different audiences/recipients, as well as seasonal emails related to course launches. We are able to tag every contact, segment them, and understand click-through rates per audience. We also use the analytics to be able to share that information with advertisers who work with our podcast network as an added value.
Pros
- Easy User Experience / Navigation
- Contact Tagging Feature
- Campaign Organization
Cons
- Help Center Information
- Easier Copy/Paste from Campaign to Campaign
- Clearer Contact Information for Bounced/Scrubbed/Unsubscribed
- Time Savings
- Increased Revenue
- Increased Visibility of Company News / Updates
- Automated Campaigns
Segmentation has been very helpful for us to split our different customer tags. We have tens of tags, and some tags can be grouped together, while others can't. The segmentation feature allows us to streamline sending campaigns by creating pre-selected segments for each different type of campaign/newsletter/email. We focus less on the predictive demographics but definitely get lots of use from the Segmentation and Tag features.
- Segmentation
- Marketing CRM
- Campaign templates
- Email marketing
- Customer journeys (automated workflows)
- Reporting
This has definitely helped us work towards our business goals by being able to reach each of our different audiences with unique and relevant content for each segment. It also saves the team time by being able to work off of campaign templates so we aren't starting from scratch each time.
We have not used this feature much. We have just begun to test this feature to aid in webinar show-up rates.
Intuit Mailchimp has scaled well with our company thus far. As we continue to scale and potentially build out the email marketing team and increase the volume of our contacts, I am less sure of how Mailchimp can stay organized and at the same level of efficiency as it is currently at.
Intuit Mailchimp is much more intuitive and easier to navigate than Constant Contact. We also had issues with Constant Contact's link clicks and reporting features, which were giving inaccurate information. Accurate reporting is incredibly important to us, and that was a big red flag. We have not had those issues with Mailchimp.
