Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp

A majority of our clients are retainer-based. However, we do take on short-term projects, and some of these clients may not fully understand the breadth of what we do. We use Intuit Mailchimp campaigns to upsell existing clients and re-engage former clients through educational content, company updates, and industry news.

Pros

  • User-friendly platform.
  • Scalable solutions.
  • I see Intuit Mailchimp as a consistent and trusted brand. It's one of the first and although the brand has obviously evolved over the years, I still think of it as a go-to platform for email marketing.

Cons

  • More templates.
  • An easier way to make edits across desktop and mobile view.
  • Intuit Mailchimp provides valuable insight into which clients are engaging with us the most and how we can tailor our messaging.
  • We've seen an increase in follow-up from former clients since launching our monthly newsletter via Intuit Mailchimp.
  • We're making more informed decisions about sales outreach by segmenting our lists and reviewing key metrics.
Although we only use Intuit Mailchimp for email marketing, it provides an added layer of support for our social media outreach and even in-person events like workshops and conferences.
We've not taken full advantage of any of the automation features. However, we plan to start using automated welcome emails for new subscribers. We also use Calendly for booking sales meetings and love that there's an automated feature to add event invitees to our email list.
It's easy to use. Most new hires or junior team members learn to navigate and use the platform very quickly. I love the marketing snapshot on the homepage. However, I do wish that recent campaigns were more prominently positioned on the dashboard.
In some cases, Intuit Mailchimp is more user-friendly than some of these platforms. However, Intuit Mailchimp has been the most consistent. For example, some of these brands were acquired by larger companies and drastically changed their pricing models and offerings without giving customers enough time to consider upgrading or downgrading. Other brands on this list claim to be CRM platforms, but have so many offerings that it feels overwhelming.
