Overall Satisfaction with isolved
isolved serves as our sole HRIS, time entry and management system, and payroll processing software. We also use benefits management, onboarding, and other functions provided for in the basic software. iSolved is in use by or organization continuously every day.
isolved streamlines HR and payroll functions with our employees and provides not only HR and pay functions, but also very advanced access to our employee data for use in many other ways outside the system.
Our employees are able to access isolved through the portal to accomplish all their day-to-day actions like time entry, leave entry and management, and accessing their personnel records. The fact that everything is available to them through on login.

- isolved is incredibly accurate and effective for processing out payroll and executing payment of wages. isolved is incredibly accurate and effective for processing out payroll and executing payments for wages.
- The system enables employees to access their own data and perform their own leave management and pay maintenance without risk.
- The data analysis and reporting/data export functions are second to none. It allows access to and manipulation of fully relational employee records and information.
Cons
- While the UI has improved over the last few years, it still needs updates to match its competitors’ modern feel.
- The system needs the ability to create and publish custom forms so the data contained in the system is directly usable. The boiler plate .pdf and Excel output options fall far short in many areas.
- isolved has improved the accuracy of our payroll processing resulting in greater employee morale and retention.
- Access and manipulation of employee data and pay information has enabled us to improve our compensation system. We would not have been able to implement a broad and well received process without the tools afforded us by isolved.
isolved provides a system and capabilities right at the sweet spot for our organizations. It is not overly complex and feature laden as to make it confusing and complex. On the other hand, it is fully functional and effective at the core requirements of HR and payroll without requiring additional work outside of the system. All of the systems we have previously considered or used were with limited on functionality or prohibitively expense and complex.
