Overall Satisfaction with Iterable
Iterable is used in my organization as the primary means of transactional, blast, triggered, ad hoc, communication, marketing and messaging to our leads, former members and current customer member base. We use several domains to send from with retail, and in center. Our use case is to provide relevant, timely and personalized information on upcoming products, promotions, information and transactional membership information for our 1 million plus members across the Americas.
Pros
- Building emails
- Selecting audiences
- Creating journies
- Highly engaged messaging
- Timely and relevant content
- Understanding when to send purchase information
- Understanding send frequency
Cons
- Removing bad emails
- Increasing sender reputation
- Offloading projects to automation
- Minimizing space for cleaning up unsused data
- We've had a slight decrease in overall CTR
- Seen a significant increase in retail revenue YoY, 100% increase
- We've seen a 60% increase in classes reserved via email
Iterable has allowed our team to create campaigns, journies and testing 40% faster than our previous platform used. We are able to identify which customers are more enaged and likely to purchase versus churn more effectively and faster. In regards to development for HTML, we're able to have a more diverse ability to craft designs which require much less build-time compared to coding HTML emails with the drag and drop ability.
We are able to create journies with ease using webhooks for different pieces of content. In compliance with the webooks we're able to craft dynamic audiences which are automatically populated and refresed on a consistent basis with new customers who meet the criteria for the webhooks, within the webhooks we're able to then send those via email, in-app for push for increasing visibility into products at different points along their journey.
Iterable has plug-in capabilities with Movable Ink, in which Movable allows for dynamic content to plug into HTML, text, messages, and utilizes data within Iterable to send dynamic personalized content to customers, great tool in addition to Iterable!
Previously we've used Salesforce Marketing Cloud, which was less user-friendly version to house customer data, send and craft email and push notificaiton campaigns. While it was able to house massive data, it was really confusing, hard to do dynamic automations, needed more training, and was a huge pain point in that everything that was designed took a ton of time and capital to get moving.
MailChimp was looked at as a product however lacked some of the in-app and SMS capabilites that Iterable has.
