Overall Satisfaction with Jobvite

I'm the administrator for my company and use it daily for applicant tracking and report generation. Corporately we use the tool not only has a compliance tool, but also core part of our business. Filling vacancies and hiring new employees is fundamentally how our company generates revenue so this is a mission critical system for us.

  • Helps both formalize and expedite our hiring process.
Our system is primarily used by candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers. I rarely hear from any candidates that are unable to accomplish basic tasks like uploading a resume or completing the application process. Recruiters successfully navigate and use the system at a very high level - seems quite intuitive for them. And even hiring managers who use the system infrequently are able to easily accomplish basic tasks.
JazzHR is another ATS product offered by Employ in their portfolio of software solutions. It's appropriate for a VERY small company - 100 employees or less IMHO. Beyond that, you'll want to start looking in the next tier up in their offerings. I used ClearCompany for several years in a previous role - it's fairly similar in the marketplace to Jobvite. But I think Jobvite is a better product.

I see Jobvite as being a leader in the mid-size company applicant tracking system market. It covers the basic fundamental requirements for state and federal compliance but is also a genuinely useful tool for both Hiring Managers and Recruiters. If you're a small company, it's probably going to be too pricey and you won't have formalized processes and procedures with which to build a robust ATS around.
