Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

Day after day, like most of us are, we are bombarded by phishing threats. Most of these our users catch, however there are the occasional ones that even I have to do a double take on. The attacks are getting more sophisticated, and therefore our alert levels must rise. KnowBe4's training allows me to focus on security and not on training the users. I can easily get a list of users that clicked on a phishing test link and then send them some supplemental training so that it doesn't happen again (or at least as often). An organization's security is only as good as its weakest link and KnowBe4 helps me harden the chain.
  • Easy to understand.
  • Easy to send to users.
  • Instant feedback when training is completed.
  • Make them more fun.
  • More variety.
  • A few designed for very low-tech skilled workers.
  • Reduced spam emails thanks to PhishRIP.
  • Easy categorization of threats.
  • Quick and fast response times thus negating threats before they start.
Trustwave always seems to cater their trainings toward higher skilled workers. While this is fine for people like me, I cannot send these to users as it would be confusing and probably generate even more work for me. KnowBe4 trainings tend to be a lot more layman and easier to understand.

Would you buy KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training again?

Yes

Users have to constantly be reminded to be on guard and ready to respond. Additionally, one must be almost paranoid when it comes to security threats. If I don't have the threat reported then I cannot act on it. I can only do so much as a security professional. However, I don't want to keep sending the same training to users as it would lose its effectiveness. Having fresh content allows me to educate users and possibly affect different users who may have different learning styles.
Everything is handled by a plugin with AD. Basically set it and forget it. In my time, I haven't had any issues with it (except for the replication time, but I expect that).
We like to see less clickers over time and more reporting. Once I get both of these in hand, then I can work towards reducing the overall spam and phishing coming into the organization. Everyone wins.
Overall, KnowBe4's training is a great thing. They really get to the heart of the issue and allow me to issue training to users that need it. It lets me focus on keeping my organization safe and not on training the users how to spot a phishing email. However, there are cases where it is not as useful. Some people learn better in person rather than online so this doesn't work quite as well.

It is nice. It allows us to focus on problematic users.

I run the connector and it imports your data.
Employees don't typically do the trainings unless they are assigned.
It's easy to find videos to watch and games to play
I've used it a few times. However HR puts a lot of restrictions on what kinds of emails we can send. Even ones that we ARE receiving we often can't send.

It works really well and is suited for most users. I'd like to see some targeted toward even less skilled workers but that doesn't describe most of my organization. Overall, they get the job done fast, efficiently and even having a little fun along the way. They aren't dull and boring for sure!
