Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We currently use KnowBe4 for Security Awareness training of all employees on a regular basis. We also use their various print materials around the office as reminders. We use the phish simulation testing to help gauge the learning of our employees and help define follow-up testing when needed. The phish-alert button for Outlook has been a strong tool for employees to report suspicious emails for our review.

  • Excellent phishing test campaigns.
  • Easy to use phish reporting capabilities.
  • Their phishing campaign would benefit from the ability to save progress when creating the campaign, should you find the need to make changes in Group membership, prior to deployment.
  • Their phish-RIP system, while powerful, is not easy to learn, and could be enhanced with more automated features.
  • We continue to ward off phishing and hacking attempts on a daily basis. It is hard to place a specific ROI on that, other than to say it is absolutely worth the money.
We have not used or tried any competing products.

We run multiple training sessions each year and KnowBe4 continually provides updated training modules for multiple subjects. The content has not felt repetitive and is often presented in new ways to help keep the users engaged.
User management can be handled individually or can be linked to Active Directory. By using AD, we have been able to configure KnowBe4 to automatically add new users to the account, assign them to a particular group and then automatically assign them mandatory training.
The reporting dashboard for KnowBe4 is extremely helpful, giving you a snapshot of current risks levels in comparison to similar companies or industries, updates on recent phishing tests, and the compliance status of current training campaigns. Other more detailed reports are available, though the up-front reporting is often sufficient for regular needs.
KnowBe4 training is suited to ALL employees from the CEO on down. Training covers email phishing, voice phishing, text phishing, social engineering, etc. There is no one in a company who should not be fully educated on all of these topics, as every single person represents an area of risk. More specific training can also be aimed at certain groups, such as Accounting or Executives.

Using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

150 - The entire company uses KnowBe4. Security awareness training is mandatory across all business functions. When all it takes is one click from one person to compromise your systems, no individuals should be exempt in your company! Executive buy-in and participation has been extremely beneficial in making the platform successful with our users.
3 - Training from KnowBe4 is definitely required to be proficient in their software. Although not particularly difficult to use, there is a lot of complexity and depth to the product. Entry level Help Desk personnel can easily be trained to support and help manage this product. Notifications help make daily maintenance an easy process.

The product has done exceptionally well for us. We have no complaints and the staff has responded well to both the training options as well as the phishing tests. The KnowBe4 staff is also extremally helpful and checks in on a regular basis just to see how things are going and if you need a hand with anything.
