Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Lastpass for Business is our primary password management platform. At Born Again Media, we are constantly testing new platforms for SEO management, social media, recruitment, Human Resources, and business administration among many others. This had become an issue as people were creating accounts and forgetting passwords, not sharing them, creating double accounts, or keeping accounts active and unused. LastPass became our team sharing platform and we have different levels (folders) for people to access and use all the tools that are relevant to their job. It was so good I ended up getting LastPass to manage my personal accounts now. Every company should try it! It is simple, intuitive, secure, and simply amazing!

Pros and Cons

Store passwords securely.
Share credentials for shared accounts on various platforms.
Create secure passwords that we don't need to remember because Lastpass does it for us.
Easy one click login to different platforms.
Sharing passwords without actually sharing the password.

I think it can be a more user friendly platform. The overall look seems old-fashioned.
Promote mobile version and integrate better with various operating systems.
Folders and levels of security can be easier to manage.

Return on Investment

It makes collaboration easier.
Allows us to test software properly and in real time.

Alternatives Considered

Apple iCloud

I think the main thing is that it works everywhere unlike the exclusive functionality of Apple iCloud password storage. LastPass can be everywhere regardless of the operating system of your computer or mobile.
I don't have many others to compare it with, but LastPass with the room for growth is still the best platform for password management that I have ever seen.

Scalability

I think the tool is great, but I have not seen much innovation in the past three years since I started using it. The design can be improved and I bet there are new functionalities that can be added. Don't get me wrong, I would not change LastPass for Business for anything now but I hope there is more evolution of the tool and communication to users so we can take advantage of new features.

Support Rating

It is awesome! I have never seen a tool like this. I would recommend every business, friend, and family member to use it! Yes, there is room for growth but it is not urgent nor required to still be the number 1 solution to password management in a business. You all should try it!

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it applies to all scenarios, especially in business ones. Nowadays companies have several platforms to conduct their day-to-day operations and international teams that can't share credentials in a post-it (not like this was a secure way). So allowing sharing and security at the same time is a must nowadays and all companies should try and look for a credentials management system and keep full control of the tools as teams evolve or change.

LastPass for Business is the first and best system to keep information secure and sharable!
