Overall Satisfaction with Lever
Lever is our corporate ATS. All sourcers, recruiters, TA coordinators, hiring managers, and interviewers use it. We also use it as a referral tool. Lever allows us to collaborate on hiring decisions, using it as the "single source of truth" for our recruiting efforts. We also use it as a first source of candidates for new roles as they open.
Pros
- single source of truth for all recruiting activities

- customized tagging for easily finding candidates for future opportunities
Cons
- reporting is pretty basic
- searching for candidates in Lever is very painful without a 3rd party tool
- the "duplicate candidate" alerts are arbitrary and often incorrect
- using a centralized tool allows us to move quickly on candidates in a very competitive employment market
- using Lever to connect with previously engaged candidates allows us to capitalize on a prior relationship
- the scheduled email function cuts down on admin/revisiting of candidates
Lever is comparable to Greenhouse in its basic recruiting functions. I have found it to be WAY better than Bullhorn (clunky and overly-complicated with a very dated and non-intuitive interface) and Jazz HR (slick and pretty, but limited in its functions). The best ATS I've used is the proprietary tool at Meta, but alas, that tool is for internal use only.
