Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

At Scripps, we have internal customers who provide overall goals, copy, and assets to support various carelines. Our team uses the Previews and Q&A section to ensure our links are working properly and identify any issues prior to sending for proofing. We use the proofing in Litmus as an email approval platform for our internal customers. Finally, for large sends, we also use the Analyze feature to add tracking code to our campaigns when we feel we need deeper analytics than our email platform can provide. Additionally, the level of service, blogs, and help articles are so helpful for our small team. I lean on Litmus for best practices and tips.

  • Our review process has been totally streamlined with Litmus. Before Litmus, some of our internal customers were printing emails to handwrite edits and then routing them back to our designer! The electronic method for review and approval was an easy transition for our team.
  • I'd love to see some enhanced integration with Marketing Cloud in relation to analytics, edits, and proofing that makes things a bit smoother.
The integration of Litmus proof in the review section of my email platform is super helpful as it allows me to make changes to my email platform prior to sending it to Litmus for external users to review and proof.
With the Apple iOS changes, we were worried that we had lost visibility to open rates. Using Litmus allowed us to gain back visibility on opens and provided us with more detailed information on email performance such as time on page and device details.
Litmus proof is a crucial part of our email review and approval process. All of our internal stakeholders and customers are trained on how to use Litmus proof and we will not launch an email without going through this process.

Litmus has allowed our internal and external teams to communicate clearly on proofing of email campaigns. Edits and revisions are easily managed and we have unlimited sharing capability for review.

Using Litmus

14 - We have one designer who loads majority of Litmus proofs to the platform for review. Our email marketing manager and specialist are back ups to the designer, and also generate the tracking code and pull analytics reporting for disbursement. All other users of Litmus are reviewers of proofs. They use the platform to note any changes or adjustments to the email campaign in review.
2 - The Litmus platform is scalable. We have 2 administrative type roles who actively manage the Litmus platform. Our manager reviews account usage, expires anyone who hasn't logged in for 90 days, and ensures the invoices are paid. Our specialist creates codes and pulls analytics on email campaigns.

  • Use of the year in review PowerPoint template! We took this template and used it to suite our needs and it was a game changer for our department and its visibility for our organization.

Litmus is an integral piece of our email program. It integrates with our email platform and is incredibly easy to use and adopt.
