Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp across numerous client accounts and those in mid-level and senior positions utilize it. It helps us easily disseminate our client's news to their core audiences and then effectively track the results of every communication to drive continuous improvement for their e-newsletter programs. Being able to quickly download and assess results helps us save time and reduce costs associated with managing these programs.
  • Can easily add and organize distribution lists/audiences
  • Can easily see results of each campaign
  • Mailchimp seems to frequently change the layout of the platform, which can be a bit confusing.
  • Larger distribution lists will require an investment via Mailchimp's credits.
  • Mailchimp saves our team time.
  • Mailchimp positions our users as experts through its data.
Mailchimp has been my go-to platform for six years. I have not used other platforms, as Mailchimp has exceeded my expectations and continues to be a reliable and user-friendly platform for distributing content.
Even for new users, MailChimp is quite easy to use. You can easily edit content, add hyperlinks to landing pages, etc. Scheduling a distribution is simple and it is also very easy to understand the data included in reports.
Because Mailchimp is an all-in-one platform, it brings our costs down, as we don't have to have separate programs for building the content, distributing it and analyzing it. We can send all marketing communications through one platform and can easily create different accounts for our various clients. Having everything in one place also saves us time and simplifies the entire process.
We've been able to get new clients on board with e-newsletter programs by sharing the success of previous programs that have been managed through Mailchimp. Being able to share the data and see it in real-time allows us to analyze what's working and gives us guidance on future improvements. The most important lesson when using Mailchimp is to listen to your audience. See what they're clicking on the most and continue to deliver innovative and intriguing content that will achieve click-throughs and drive sales.
Mailchimp is very well-suited for organizations with smaller distribution lists, as it is free to use if you have fewer than 2,000 contacts and need to send less than 10,000 emails in a month. Once you require an upgrade, the distributions require an investment. However, it is quite affordable and you can purchase larger packages of credits at a better price. It's great for organizations that frequently send out distributions and want to track the open rate, click rate, etc. over time to see how their program's performance changes.
