Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

Mailchimp is being used in our Customer Success & Experience teams. It's used for email communication to our fans.

  • It has definitely been efficient to use. It allows our team to focus on managing relationships as opposed to struggling with the platform.
  • It's a big time-saver. Our team has been able to re-allocate our time and resources towards other areas of the business to help our company grow.
  • It isn't a manual process. With email automation and drip campaigns, we just create, copy, and prepare the lists. Emails are sent much quicker than before.
We've used both Mailchimp and Sugar Market. Both platforms have their pros and cons. Ultimately, we use Mailchimp due to the ease of the platform and [the] ability to quickly incorporate it with our team. Sugar Market can be a bit overwhelming if you're not an email marketing expert/guru. With Mailchimp, we just prepare the lists and copy and are ready to fire off the emails. I love the ability to see [a] template/sample/example of the email before it's sent to the masses.
I'd still give Mailchimp a 9. I love the accessibility and the ease of use. It definitely plays a factor in this rating. As mentioned, I do wish the reporting was a little bit more detailed and the search functionality was better. I'd hope our campaigns could be more targeted as opposed to [being] siloed by the lists. Nevertheless, it has been a great addition due to the ease and easy adoption for the team.
This has definitely helped! It's great to see the company moving [in] this direction. We were hoping with this that more integrations would become available as well. Not sure if it's the package we purchased or if they just aren't simply available now. We definitely use some of the other features now that they are readily available for us.
We've had great success with successfully sending out email campaigns and communicating with our fans. Our email campaigns are catered more towards our primary clients (schools) and can consist of webinars and other important information. It's also used for communication with our secondary clients (fans). We have to keep them abreast on platform updates, etc. [The] most important lesson is to always check the lists and email copy! This [is] more internal; however, it pays to take a double look.

Our team uses it and [has] found it very beneficial to use. It's extremely efficient and easy to pick up on using. We mostly use it to send and resend email confirmations to fans who have purchased tickets. For the most part, the search function works; however, I wish it was more improved. It's harder to search for something when it's not within the specific date range provided.
