Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

We use MailChimp to create, design, and write engaging, personal emails for our clients and prospects to learn more about our company and how we can help them. We also track results, such as click-through rate and open rate. It is also a great place to store email addresses and contact information.

  • We've gotten great feedback from clients
I think ActiveCampaign has a lot more powerful features, but MailChimp offers a free plan and has really started to make changes to its systems that we feel are positive. I know that people using MailChimp had a lot of problems with how automation works, but that has improved overall.
I think MailChimp is really easy to use for beginners, so of course, usability would be high. The usability has finally become more intuitive and improved over time, even though I think it has some more work to do. Still, you can easily sign up and get going even if you've never used any email campaign software before.
We have not really used the landing pages and social media integrations much, but it is something we are exploring. Being able to log in and use one platform for many marketing needs is definitely a benefit, and we are eager to explore it as soon as we get the chance.
We've mostly had great feedback and referrals from the eblasts we send out. I think that a big important lesson is that you should always A/B test your email campaigns because the email subject and content changes can be very subtle but seriously change the results and engagement rates.

Do you think Mailchimp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Mailchimp's feature set?

Yes

Did Mailchimp live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Mailchimp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Mailchimp again?

Yes

I think Mailchimp is best suited for smaller companies that do not have a large marketing budget. All of the basic features are there with decent functionality and even a free plan. However, it would need to implement some more powerful features and automation to compete for the business of larger organizations.
