Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Engaging our clients via email is one of the critical parts for us to increase the key metric of bookings per client. We use Mailchimp for both types of campaigns, activating and retaining clients. Activation happens while onboarding clients and ensuring clients reach a particular stage and get value from our product and service. Drip campaigns within Mailchimp are what we use to create a series of emails to take clients through different features and options and regular email updates with a mix of educational content on how they can increase their business.
- Email automation is great, we use it for creating our drip campaigns
- Drag & drop UI for drafting emails
- A/B Testing to constantly increase open rates and click rates
- Mailchimp is already great but some improvement with capturing form or user data would be beneficial
- Integrations with other tools can be improved as well
- For us, overall it was a positive impact only as we were able to achieve the goals around activation metrics
- We have been able to improve our onboarding of customer by educating them
Yes, Mailchimp was much better when we evaluated different products due to the use case and pricing. Managing email subscribers and lists is super easy in Mailchimp and I can easily segment using filters. Our use case was to integrate with the product and that process seems to be easier as well. After evaluating on all these factors, we choose Mailchimp and felt happy about it in long term.
To be honest, we have not used it as all-in-one marketing platform within our organisation. Our main use case was around email automation and regular emails to subscribers. For us, we benefited a lot from email automation to improve some critical business metrics. The delivery rates of emails were decent as well.
Again, improving core business metrics is critical for any business to grow sustainably. For us, it was improving our onboarding and activation flow of the customers. While executing the campaigns, we truly valued the importance of A/B testing and creating educational content for our clients. Focusing on small things impacted the overall performance of a campaign and ultimately business metrics.
