Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is replacing Skype for our internal communications. Right now it's being used just in IT and Project Management but soon we are going to start expanding it to be used in every group in our organization. It's proved to be a valuable communication tool in our department, and we definitely see the potential for widespread company use.
- Easy to use interface
- Vast amount of features such as chat, calendar, calls, shared files, and more
- I wish there was a way to make chat notifications pop up more in your face like the old personal edition of Skype did.
- There should be some sort of contact directory instead of having to search for users.
- It has helped our department stay on-task using the built-in planner.
- It helps us by giving us quick communication among our team so we can get things done quicker.
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
We briefly used Skype for Business, and it worked fine but Microsoft Teams was sort of taking over for Skype so we went ahead and moved that direction and haven't looked back. It has more features and is the future of business collaboration software.
