Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is replacing Skype for our internal communications. Right now it's being used just in IT and Project Management but soon we are going to start expanding it to be used in every group in our organization. It's proved to be a valuable communication tool in our department, and we definitely see the potential for widespread company use.
  • Easy to use interface
  • Vast amount of features such as chat, calendar, calls, shared files, and more
  • I wish there was a way to make chat notifications pop up more in your face like the old personal edition of Skype did.
  • There should be some sort of contact directory instead of having to search for users.
  • It has helped our department stay on-task using the built-in planner.
  • It helps us by giving us quick communication among our team so we can get things done quicker.
We briefly used Skype for Business, and it worked fine but Microsoft Teams was sort of taking over for Skype so we went ahead and moved that direction and haven't looked back. It has more features and is the future of business collaboration software.
Only gave this an 8 as we haven't ever had to use support for Teams yet, but I've used Microsoft support many times and so far they do always get the solution for us but sometimes it takes them a while to understand our actual problem. I imagine if I ever had to contact support for Teams it would likely be similar to our experience with other Microsoft support calls.

Do you think Microsoft Teams delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft Teams's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Teams live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft Teams go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft Teams again?

Yes

If you use Office 365 already, then there really is no reason you shouldn't check out Microsoft Teams. If you have ever used Skype, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, etc. back in the day, this is basically the same software but fleshed out for business use. There are many features that can be used by any organization large or small.
