Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It's being used across the whole organization. For Production, we used it for brainstorming video ideas and script suggestions. It has been used to create a chart of the whole organization.

Pros

  • Screen sharing.
  • Post-its.
  • Frames.
  • Integrating Youtube videos.

Cons

  • More admin control or being able to add board owners.
  • Zoom controls are not obviously seen by new users.
  • Being able to group items together and select groups more easily to move all within.
  • Had more involvement from shy team members.
  • Acquired more out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Better organization of surveyed answers.
It does require a little bit of introduction to get others on the team to start using Miro and become more familiar with the tools and navigate.
New users had little trouble getting used to navigating inside Miro and finding certain tools. The board did get messy and chaotic at times. Being able to put in PDFs, Youtube videos, and slideshows was helpful. It's great to see those resources on the same page as the board.
We have been able to use it for some fun games and ice breakers while remote. We loved using the camera feature to be able to see everybody's faces and talk in real-time as if we were in an in-person meeting.
