Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I’m a graduate design and engineering student. I use Miro to collaborate with teams of 3 to 50 students to easily communicate and share ideas.

Pros

  • Easily adding input via sticky notes.
  • Collaboration among multiple individuals makes remote work easier.
  • Many apps and color / shape options make it easy to differentiate work.

Cons

  • Buggy when panning/dragging to select. Often switches between cursor and hand icon and function.
  • Could use basic image editing tools.
  • More fonts.
  • Increased productivity on group projects.
  • Ability to designate workspaces that can be viewed by everyone.
  • Ability to share work with colleagues outside of the project.
Miro works well for what I need it to do. I don’t have any particular insights for Miro but I can say that it’s a valuable tool that is used by many of my peers for multiple different functions.
As with any app with multiple features, there is a learning curve. I think given this, Miro is a fairly easy tool to use. I know that I don’t use Miro to its full capacity because there are apps on the toolbar that I don’t use.
Miro has made it very easy for my teams to work remotely and still produce valuable collaborative work.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I like Miro because it has a more open-ended format compared to other resources which have more specific functions.
I like using Miro for student projects where I need to collaborate remotely. I also use Miro with my classmates during classes, where we are all working on an exercise together. Miro allows us to easily add content at the same time rather than taking turns. Additionally, Miro allows for asynchronous addition to a shared workspace before collaborating on additional work.
