Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We used it for a team-building activity/ice breakers in my new analyst cohort. Helpful to have many users online at once where we could all collaborate live. Probably had about 100 people simultaneously assigned to virtual break-out rooms.

Pros

  • Live collaboration
  • Simple UI
  • Support for at least 100 concurrent users

Cons

  • Additional font choices
  • Embedded links
  • Increased collaboration
  • Better brainstorming
  • Easier sprint planning
Unfortunately not, the implementation was handled by someone else.
Don't recall users having to do a lot of login shenanigans, more of a "drop a link and we'll hop on."
It helped a lot. It made it easy for people working remotely to get in one place for brainstorming ideas or prioritizing sprints.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well-suited for ice breaks and other team-building activities. Also good for brainstorming or sprint planning activities. Perhaps not as well suited for strategy or technical-related meetings where diagrams are necessary. When we did sprint planning, it was helpful to allow people to quickly drop a bunch of ideas on sticky notes so that the team could later organize into different verticals and discuss. A better solution than just having people ping ideas in chat where things are harder to organize.
