Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used as a platform for collaboration and exchange on certain projects where several teams are involved. In the last year, the focus was on getting together in a new structure and collecting expectations, goals, collaboration rules, etc. In the beginning, it was hard to understand the navigation through the miro board but got familiar with it quite fast after using it a few times. It's nice that you can so many things to the board. The toolbar is broad.

Pros

  • many different tools can be used in miro (post its, Mind Maps etc.)
  • extentable, space is not limited on aboard. You can zoom in and out
  • easy collaboration tool

Cons

  • easier onboarding to the tool fot newcomers in miro
  • limited free-of-charge version
  • consolidated information platform. Finding documentation easier
  • facilitates project work and collaboration
After the implementation of a miro board for team collaboration in the new structure, we made a team survey on how users liked miro as a collaboration tool and the feedback was overall positive. 80 % of the group were happy and recommended using miro in the future for more purposes. I was also happy to share the ideas and our board with colleagues from different departments.
It's possible to integrate miro in team meetings. There are just a few steps that need to be completed. With the Miro online whiteboard, it's easy to co-create and bring meetings to life. In any Team meeting, a miro board is opened fastly to brainstorm ideas, take notes, or visualize concepts together.
In Team meetings, we share our Miro board and work in real-time using tools like sticky notes, voting, timers, and more without having to switch in and out of different applications. Miro brought our team closer together although we did not meet in person anymore on a very frequent basis.
Many functions and tools that are available on other platforms/tools but only as a single function are combined in miro. The broad menu of tools is great in miro collaboration. Miro is Scalable, secure, device-independent and ready quite fast for team collaboration. The whiteboard can be distributed to teams and users easily. Integration in meetings is simple.

Miro is a great digital collaboration tool for the hybrid working environment. It's quite easy to handle after getting started. A big advantage is that people can work on the board at the same time and it's always up-to-date. Miro is a helpful tool for collecting ideas, creating-post, and mind mapping, but for task handling and tracking, not the best application.

I like the miro tool, because it is one single tool with many great features for different purposes. The Miro Board ist quite easy to handle and can be established in an organization also quite easily. Moreover, you have the possibility to add a miro board to your team meetings for collaboration.

Miro Boards are extentable and have many features combined in one tool, like mindmapping, post it's, Dashboard, slides and more.
