Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for easy collaboration on projects including website user research, project planning and weekly updates. It's been incredibly useful in transforming the user research we used to only be able to do in face-to-face sessions, allowing us to increase our reach and provide more participation options with employees working remotely.
- Remote collaboration
- Brainstorming
- Visually representing ideas
- Gathering input from a broad group
- Kanban board
- User research and requirements gathering
- Small learning curve for controls/navigation
- Range of templates
- Locking down base boards
- Increased access to users for research without travel costs
- Easy communication with internal stakeholders
- Great project tracking
Miro has given us the ability to collaborate remotely using techniques and frameworks familiar to staff like kanban boards and post-it brainstorming using a virtual rather than physical space. It makes it easy to share the project artifacts and outcomes after the workshop too. I really appreciate the permissions available for boards and that we don't need to create an account for every user unlike with other tools - we can share a link with one-off collaborators who can join as guests or we can have core team members with increased access.

Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
Cost was very reasonable, the web-based platform makes it easier to get up and running without requiring software installs and approvals, multi-facted tool that does more than one job, range of templates for different applications, great onboarding and help material provided so we don't have to arrange training ourselves. Fits in really well with hybrid working teams that are now the norm for my organisation.
