Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for workshops as it provides amazing templates and makes your life easy. We also use it to prioritize backlogs as an easy Kanban solution. I 've seen implementations for Roadmaps, for Retrospectives and I am really impressed that the use of it hasn't declined after the COVID era

Pros

  • Very Easy to use and Intuitive
  • Retrospective Preparation
  • Workshop preparation and templates

Cons

  • Dashboards in Teams logic was for me a bit confusing in the beggining
  • Editing colors in Icon (eg. make a checkmark icon green or red )
  • Speed could be better (loading new when you are in another tab and come back)
  • Notify when board is changed
  • Was a huge enabler during Covid and made collaboration possible
  • Has this one stop shop as you can use it from Notes to complex User Journey analysis
We are a huge team spread across countries and time zones so Miro is our tool of preference when it comes to working together. I have seen many ready templates from all sorts of Agile ceremonies but also workshop preparation. You can drive big meetings with structure, involve all participants, timebox them easy and all that with a pleasant way

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I started using Miro heavily when we switched to Agile working as it provides many templates to do all agile Ceremonies easy and convenient. You can use timers and voting and nice boards to cluster your ideas. It is ideal for online and Hybrid Collaboration but of course you can use it also for onsite work.
