Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Used as a collaborative tool within the organization for brainstorming, planning, mind-mapping. Whilst Miro is used daily by many teams including our product management division, my specific use case covered an innovations project where colleagues were invited to collaborate across the globe - Miro in this case was perfect as it allowed the team to work more efficiently together regardless of where they were.
  • Facilitates global collaboration as everyone can work in their timezones
  • Real-time collaboration is made easy via a "live" platform, you can see what everyone is doing!
  • The inclusion of sticky notes, makers, and shapes resemble the experience of a whiteboard which allows non-users to easily understand the concept without the need for training.
  • Platform becomes slow when you exceed a certain amount of data.
  • Could be a little more intuitive to use (user-friendly), not every feature is obvious, e.g. I struggled with making bullet points!
  • Perhaps you can provide a mini-map that allows you to navigate larger boards better? I think we struggled with how large the boards got and navigating them.
  • Visualization on Miro allows users to see the "Bigger Picture" far more easily and make informed decisions. Less digging through weeds.
  • Using Miro, we were able to come up with solutions faster, days as opposed to weeks as opposed to months
  • Improved productivity within the team as the platform allows you to see what everyone is contributing! Better accountability as well as credit to those who contribute.
Pretty quick to gather the basics and get going, though I feel that there needed to be better training or understanding of more advanced features. Having said that, I think that the self tutorial is a brilliant feature and a great way to get started. Moreover, not something for Miro, but there really needs to be more communication within my company to get teams adopting Miro as folks were apprehensive (and still are), about using a platform that no one has communicated to them about.
Easy to use off the bat but the self-training needs to perhaps cater to the different features rather than everything at once. Perhaps needs to be more bitesize? Other than that, integration within our team was seamless, and almost without fault as the platform is reasonably intuitive and allows you to grasp the basics without the need for much (if any) training.
Yes! Miro is truly a perfect platform for global collaboration and is used extensively to allow colleagues across the organization to bring together ideas in real-time (or not), without the need for meetings at silly times. Miro is extremely strong in this regard and I only wish that my organization adopted this more widely as other methods for collaboration, aren't as easy to use or just do not provide the visualization that teams need for successful collaboration.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited to collaborations across global teams Good for real-time brainstorming/mind-mapping in live meetings, and would go perfect with a digital whiteboard (we didn't have one at hand). In my experience, better suited when used as an app rather than through web browsers. We had the latter and perhaps this is what made it clunky. Not suitable if you have a board that you want to expand forever. The system becomes clunky with too much information
