Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it to brainstorm ideas in a way that you can't do in a Google Doc, or a spreadsheet.

Then I often invite colleagues to join the miro board in meetings as a way of fostering free-er thinking, collaboration.

Pros

  • Provide an open canvas for brainstorming
  • Easily create workflows
  • Easily allow miro boards to be shared
  • Easily export individual pieces of a board

Cons

  • Text editing
  • Image editing
  • Management of boards and teams can be confusing
  • Improved alignment
  • Promotes better strategic thinking early
  • Great for remote environments where there is no whiteboard
Miro is a life-saver for remote groups. Within seconds, others can all hop on the same board and work simultaneously.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

While they're not exactly the same, I find that Miro is more intuitive. Figma is more Photoshop-like, and therefore a bit more involved.
Miro is great for brainstorming in an unconstrained, non-linear way, which is what I find limiting about brainstorming in Google docs.
